    * Life-long sailor; 50,000 n.mi. ocean cruising; 10,000 n.mi. ocean racing.
    * Have been owner & skipper of these - "Axel Heyst III" 49 ft Angus Primrose cutter; "Margaretha Trip" 38 ft. ketch; a Cal-40; a 34 ft. classic wood sloop; "Rockwell Kent" 60 ft. ferro wishbone ketch; a Bob Perry 36 ft. sloop.
    * Currently planning another long range solo voyager - smaller this time - plans are for an aluminum 10 metres LOA junk sloop.
