I'm new to this site - a lifetime sailor out of Chicago, but do not currently own a big boat (other than my Hobie 16 "beach toy"!).

I was just reading your great post about bareboat sailing in Croatia. My wife and I are considering a trip next May, taking advantage of the shoulder season, looking at one week starting/ending in Dubrovnik.

I am very interested in your experience with NauticEd to book your trip - I like the idea of a reliable third party to help qualify all of the options.

Hey Ben,
I was just reading your reply post about knowing the Chesapeake well. I am from Md but never really explored the Bay. I am now in Fl preparing to head to the Bay for the summer. My draft is 5-8’ so I know many areas will be off limits. Wondering if you might be able to share some local knowledge or good guides. Figured we would start in the southern end and work our way north to probably Balt. My crew has to fly home July 5, then I will have the rest of the summer to further explore. So for the first month we would be below Balt. Certainly no obligation on your part. Thanks, Ken
