    Hi
I see that you have a Sayer. I'm looking at buying one of his boats and wanted some input.

I believe its a very strong and fast boat and pretty easy to sail solo. Its obviously very spartan inside, more of a racing build-out. Do you think the sailing ability would be much affected if I was to make some additions to the interior? For example I'd replace the pipe cots in the aft quarters with real berths, maybe pressure water, more batteries and solar.
I'd add a Hydrovane to the stern for steering and to have rudder redundancy, make the dodger/bimini a bit more protective and sheltered.

Whats your experience with the sailing ability? Is this boat something you can set the sails conservatively on and leave for a few hours? Does she slam much in heavy seas? Have you every had any issues with the rudder?

Any info you could give me would be much appreciated

    Thanks
