Sorry for slow response, I've been off-grid for a few days. My motor is a Minn Kota Riptide 50. I bought a 12v Lawnmower battery that is approx 8"x8"x6" for it and then realized I ought to have one to get me there and one to get me back So far I've only used one battery when moored or around the marina. The motor hangs on the transom of a 10 foot hard floored inflatable dinghy. I have a (maybe 10w or 15w) 12v solar panel approx 12"x16" from Wholesale solar that used to be part of the system keeping my house batteries topped off when I was not using Sedna. Now she has 90w so I repurposed one small panel to keep my dinghy batteries topped off.

hello - I just read your post about you having an electric outboard that is powered by lawn mower batteries. Could you share with me how you do that? Sound really interesting.

    Thanks,
