I'm a prospective Pacific Ocean sailor, willing to go on a one-year cruise with my wife, starting from San Francisco.
I understand you were on a similar cruise back in 2010...

We are looking hard at boat and a Lancer 36 came to our attention, hence me writing to you. Any weaknesses you identified?
Any advice as to were to look for wear on this particular boat, other than the classic rigging, beck, mast, keel, motor inspection?

Your help and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
