Feel free to drop me a line when you're ready to sell your boat. Although your timing is probably a little premature for me, I'll certainly give your vessel a look.

Kudos to you for making the dream a reality, and thanks again for sharing your story.

    Kind Regards,

Hello Four Coconuts. Thanks for the introduction and for the encouraging words. As you know I'm seriously considering a cruising lifestyle, but just don't know exactly when I'll make the break. To be honest, I'm more-or-less ready to go now, but my career and investments are gaining momentum, which encourages me to stay the course and build even more for the future. At the same time, I'm old enough to know life doesn't go on forever, and that I'll never be healthier or stronger than I am today - so there's no time like the present. I know this is the dilemma of many people in my shoes.

I am heading to the Miami sailboat show in a couple of weeks. I'll attend a few seminars and see some of the newer cats. This will be my first boat show, and my attendance is a manifestation of my desire to pursue the sailing lifestyle.

Hi D-Vector, first in my previous life I was a financial advisor and you've got plenty to go. I took two years off to travel with my family on a 45' Leopard. It's been incredible. Life changing. Once my kids go to college my wife and I will be right back out here! However, at this point our two years are coming to a close. We've done the whole Caribbean, albeit relatively quickly. We've got to get the kids back to school, which brings me to my point. Our boat would be an excellent choice for you. It's got size, is fully outfitted for cruising with new cruising equipment ($100k) and it won't break the bank. I am going to sell it without a broker and at a very good, non-negotiable bottom line price in order to move it quickly. We'll be back in the States in late March. If you're interested in a write up, drop me an email at dwyethmarsden@gmail Otherwise, best of luck. You're ready to do this.
