We bought an Ovni 445 2009 in the Philippines the start of this year and have been back and forth from Australia a few times getting used to sailing the boat and carrying out repairs, happy with our choice.

Hi, I notice from your posts that you are pursuing a dream similar to ours but just perhaps a couple of years ahead of us. I'd be interested to keep in touch to see how you are progressing and the pitfalls to avoid. Like you we have a trailer sailer that we race and cruise extensively. Kids are nearing the end of school so time to start planning. Are you still interested in the Ovni/Allures as these are the boats that interest me at this stage - especially with all those canals through Europe to explore. Our plan is to be part timers ie European summers in the Med then back home for our summers for who knows how many years. Cheers, Dave
