ziggy, mine is j rogers,sailed here
(not by me) in 1988 trans atlantic singled race and of course i have the tiller(standard).Wife often comes but daughters have no use for boats.Family keeps me closer to home nowadays but may get to maine soon .Have yanmar 3gm30 so plenty of power but Houdini sail like a witch once wind gets above 8kts or more.Best boat i have ever had.will send pics when camera repaired. Ours is a Canadian-built CO32. We've had her since 1985. A few years ago, I added a cutter stay, and a couple years ago a new Yanmar diesel. I usually sail with my wife, but also single handed from time to time. We usually cruise in Maine, although in the past we've sailed in S. New England also.

Is yours a Jeremy Rogers or a JJ Taylor?

Hi ziggy, i too have a contessa 32 and live in the hudsonvalley and cruise to Block is etc., often single handed since my dog has little use for boats but he does look like yours. Am interested in comparing notes on this fine craft. regards mike rohr
