I'll admit that I am not an expert in troubleshooting electronics, and don't know the specifics of your installation. Did it receive when you accepted the installation? I was careful to follow ICOM recommendations in my installation. If I had trouble, I'd review those recommendations and inspect the equipment layout and connections. Eliminate any potential interference from other electronics. I'd check the troubleshooting section of the ICOM manual (I don't have access to mine at the present - it's on the boat in Mexico) and perhaps contact their technical support. Good luck.

Hello Joe,

Recently I purchased an ICOM M802 and the vendor installed the remote, transceiver and Automatic Tuner for me. However, it does not receive and the vendor is not helpful as I am not in California any longer. I read that you installed your own system and it works well. Do you have any suggestions on how I can trouble shoot my radio and get it to work?
