Palcohol - Powered Alcohol

How much weight could be saved in your typical boat if you could just mix this in to your water and have a nice Rum or Vodka? Assume a watermaker

I think you will only gain convenience, not save weight or space.

Each package has an ounce of palcohol and then you have to add the weight of the packaging. There are about 60 "servings" in a normal 1.75 liter bottle which is just about the same as the weight of 60 1-ounce packets of palcohol. They did this on purpose.

So it won't burn, as in a fuel source.
