So You Want to Be a Sailor . . .

I stared writing a book years ago on my experiences on the water, as well as other peoples. I am starting this thread to.copy the book. I hope you find it entertaining as well as informative. I have 15 chapters written and have a couple more to write to finish the book. I would like to dedicate this thread to Allan Farrel, Tristan Jones and all the other hard core traditionalists who gave me the courage and motivation to attempt engine-less cruising. It will take a few days to get started and may be a few months before I am finished. I will start with an introduction and chapter index and go from there. Thank you for your patience.

Welcome aboard. Is your book placed in the Pacific Northwest?

Kewl

You should cruse by the big sailers party of the year on Sucia Island next week, mid week there is a big beach party with the PNW sailors and Bob Bitchen from Lattitudes and Attitudes mag and the music is a band from the Bahamas, Eric Stone with friends Steve and Shelly playing backup. The party then goes to Friday harbor for a weekend party, with lots of signal cannons going off. We were at last years party what a blast.
