Re: Tsofli

Yes thank you and i have seen the flicka in videos. What i am thinking is insane. But with a Flicka i think it would feel like a double flip dive from the edge of space with no parachute having to land in a field of razors .

Tsofli is a slang name for the shell of a nut or an egg. But something small. And of no value. Something small of no value that floats = Tsofli. Maybe i can make something valuable out of something like this.

Thanks for cluing me in. I will look forward to hearing someone actually pronounce it.

As someone that dabbles in making found object sculpture I admire your attitude.

I find that it usually involves sweat, blood, and tears.
But the self-satisfaction is well worth the effort.

Good Luck ...

Re: Tsofli

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Just to keep you down here on earth for a while longer I'd recommend you learn how to sail before buying a sailboat. Then, you will know what to do with the sails if you have some. Some organizations offer lessons that are nearly free. Our Yacht club offers an introductory lesson we call 101 for free each month. You don't learn much but you really have a good time at our expense.

I used my club as an example. I'm not certain where HHI SC is. Maybe South Carolina? I hope you can find sailing folks near you somewhere. Any boat owner would be glad to show you how to do boat maintenance.

kind regards,
