You may want to be careful tipping that Rum drink. That's how I ended up owning a Harley and boat!

I have thought also of being able to take a bike, and I also thought of the protective casing on deck. I would build it in aluminum with rubber seals. Also I would take the time to spray a dab of LPS-3 on each and every nut & bolt to pretect them from corrosion.
