Re-discovering sail!

Good day to all, the wife and I just bought a Coronado 25, a kind of fixer upper and are looking forward to many stress free (Ha!) hours on Lake Ontario. We have gone over the boat and are just waiting delivery i a day or two. I hope to get the family addicted to the lifestyle like I was twenty years ago. This puppy is just the first step towards my deam of sailing warm waters for great lengths of time. Like the forum so far. Take care...Allan

Aloha Allan,
Welcome aboard!! Hope you enjoy the forum and congratulations on the new boat. From what I remember they are a pretty stable craft for their size. I guess you've already heard about what can happen with cored decks and cabin tops. Hope that doesn't happen with yours. If it is solid then making certain that all fittings are properly bedded and that there are no holes in the fiberglass will go a long way in keeping the boat dry.
Happy sailing.
