New to lifestyle and to sailing

We moved aboard our boat last July . We are headed home from our second cruise , so far .
Our first cruise was from Montgomery Ala to Destin Fl . Hurricane Isaac and our daughters wedding sent us back home from that one.

This second cruise was from Montgomery to Dauphin Island and we are now headed home for Christmas .

After the Holidays we are plannning our first major cruise from Montgomery to Key West . We plan to stay out for most of the 2013 year .

We are new to this boat and fulltime cruising , but old salts when it comes to boating and vacation cruising , having owned two small Bayliner cabin cruisers . We are some of the rare birds who go from power to sail .

I don't think your rare birds at all. I'll retire soon and "After Hours" and her 20+ GPH will go and I'll be on a sail boat also. Good Luck on your adventures...LL
