Hello Peter:

Good luck on the trip. Our boat is currently lying in Van Isle (near Sidney). We plan on taking her to SF in about a year. We'll be crossing tracks with you as Beth (wife) Marina(daughter age 10) and Keegan (son age 9) will be going upwind at 55 mph+ to go sailing. We intend to keep the boat up there for anther 12 months and then sail down the coast thru Kalifornia and on to Mexico. Good luck with your trip. Let us know how everthing goes. I'll try and get my kids to read your blogsite so we know how kids do on passages.

Aloha Peter,
Welcome aboard!! Good to have you here. This is not criticism nor humor at your expense but just thought you'd like to know that 36" is only 3 feet of waterline. Pretty small boat. LOL.
Seems like lots of folks are headed South this spring and summer. Pacific Voyager is going south starting in May. She is in Campbell River now.
Hope you have a happy voyage and let us know of your progress.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

That's 36" LOA, never mind on the waterline. It feels like that with all the stuff that's going on board.

Thumbs up

Welcome aboard from another just South of the border I'll be heading for the S. Pac. myself in the near future. We just need to get things in order and the plans finalized. We have family in the Philippines and that'll be the Homeport (The Visayas). Maybe we'll cross paths some day...................._/)
