Hello From Lake Travis, TX

I've been sailing for almost two years now and am just about to skipper my first bareboat in the BVIs. I've been lurking here for a while, and felt it was time to become legit. I still don't own a big boat, but I have been racing on friends' JBoats and my Laser with the Austin Yacht Club for over a year. So, greetings all, and seeya on the water.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, gybeoh.

Glad you've gone "legit", and hope you really enjoy your charter.

Looking forward to reading some good BVI (or Tx) sailing stories.

Welcome to the board. We spend about half our time at Lake Travis (down Comanche Trail from the Oasis) and the other half in east Texas. Lake Travis is a great sailing lake. See you around the lake sometime. Have fun at BVI.
