Talking Hello Everyone

I've been following the site for several months, but only recently arrived at a place where my service is fast enough that typing a greeting was not hair pulling. Look forward to learning much more. Presently on Fl west coast heading for the Keys/Bahamas, on board a 42' trawler with the Admiral, one small dog, and one very! Large cat.

Re: Hello everyone

Welcome and good seas. I envy you. You might want to investigate wi fi signal boosters. There are several and some are very good. I have no real experience with them in the US. In Europe we have use cell phone service with a modem. Not super fast for web surfing but not bad and if I know wher I want to go it works great. Email is also great as long as there are not to many pictures. My son says his cell is not bad on the net but of course does not equal what he has at home. We really have had great luck in marinas with our lap top and of course, there is always McDonalds if we can get close enough. But 20 miles out and there often is not much except the cell. That is not all bad either.
