Hello Everyone

I have no idea how all this works even thought I love computers. Anyway maybe I'll pick it up as I go.
Retired and looking to buy a boat and sail the ARC but also Caribbean and Mediterranean and live on it for 3 years maybe 5.
So I joined because I hear you need a blue water heavy duty boat and so I'm trying to figuew out what kind of boat that is. I like bavaria Jenneau and Catalina but some say they are not strong enough.
So I'm doing some research.

Re: Hello Everyone

Welcome to the forum. We have a great search feature on the forum. Many people have asked "What kind of boat for Blue water". You can get a lot of input without even having to ask.

Re: Hello Everyone

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. You need a strong boat that's well maintained. Not necessarily a heavy boat. More often than not it is the sailor and not the boat that determines how far and wide they travel.
kind regards,

Re: Hello Everyone

When searching for threads in this forum regarding which vessel best suites your needs, do not use the standard Cruisers Forum search bar. Use the google custom search bar in that drop down menu. It has much better sensitivity and specificity.
