Greetings from the Med.

Hi everyone,
I have just inherited a 1978 45 ft Maramu cruiser so I am looking forward to
reading and joining in this cruiser forum.
I have sailed a 30 ft Bavaria before, so I am wondering how the amel maramu behaves.
Off to gen up on previous postings now......

regards
Davidundalicia

Welcome, David.

Lucky you! Amel makes a nice boat.

I learned from a friend who has one that the designer was blind, so he designed his boats to be easily sailed by a blind person--handholds within easy reach, helm station controls identifiable by feel, etc.

This certainly is a great forum and I have been known for my strong opinions in the past.
As I have already read the rules, I can understand why the members are also polite and understanding.
