Aloha From Southern Florida

Aloha CF People~

I have been sailing for a few years and crewing on race boats for a little longer; one designs, and some bigger boats too. Since the space program shut down I've been to French Culinary school and just completed that last year... Suffice to say I love food, especially good food.

I love all things sailing, so much so that I offered to take a friends boat off his hands while he jetted off to Asia.

So... I'm kinda stuck in South Florida now, trying to get back to Sabine Texas, and wondering if my crew mate will actually make it here to help me or not. I will post in the crew wanted section as time gets closer to departure ( first week of October). I want to make a couple repairs first to make the journey a safe and pleasurable one (backstay, mainsheet, a better improvised rudder head).

I'm happy to be here there is so much to learn and glean from the experience you've had in your life times. Any and all suggestions and comments appreciated and encouraged. No wifi but I will check back daily.

Mahalo & Aloha~

Howdy Hapa, Welcome Aboard CF!

Good intro.

From Rockets to Food. Interesting switch in focus.

You might enjoy some of the many food discussions found here in the Liveaboard forum. Check them out, including the one titled something like "Vegans make great lovers" (it is not just about vegan food).

Food is one of the best subjects that sailors like to talk about, so you should fit right in.
