Ahoy from northern California!

I'm a new sailor learning to sail and look forward to getting my sea legs. Interested more in long range blue water cruising than racing and sailing vacations.

Decided on learning to cruise next month in warm Caribbean BVI with Offshore Colgate sailing then come back to continue more training.

Awesome! I've heard good things about Colgate. Good luck.

Re: Ahoy from northern California!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I will report back on my sailing experience in BVI. I decided to do it in warm place than cold winter learning in SF Bay. I will come back and pick up to learn more advanced sailing later on.
