Off Topic but Sorta On Topic

For those of you that don't know I've spent the last few months and quite a few boat units fixin' up an '87 IROC-Z. Long story short I had one years ago and had to give it up. I found another in April and it's taken almost all our time to fix it up.

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day for a tour in the IROC! 500 Kms with the t-tops off and topped off with a boat ride!

Waitin' in line for the ferry.

Gettin' loaded up on the ferry.

Notice the "Seat Candy" in the passenger side. Yup that's Knottygirlz!

It's days like today that make all the time, effort & expense worth it.

Let me get this right. You spent "quite a few" boat units on a car???

So, someone made you do it, right?

Well this is a boating related bulletin board. If I had said I spent X# of 1000's of dollars nobody would know what I was talking about. Now if I said I spent 5 boat units (BU's) they'd all know how much I spent, correct?

In which case, it wasn't your fault - you clearly weren't responsible for your own actions and so you are excused

Looks great Rick.

But you better keep a close eye on the thing. A few years ago one of our employees had his ripped off from right in front of the shop and it never was found.

Boat units (B.O.A.T.) are valid no matter what you spend them on. It's just less you get to spend on the boat. But they do seem to replenish themselves in the spring.

Thanks James & Del. Lori says "Hi Lena".

We'll keep a close eye on the IRocket Del! Not many of these left around these parts so it sorta sticks out. I think I've only seen one other this year.

Spent the day out on the boat, bonus, two fantastic days in a row! Somehow it all seems worthwhile.

That's a sweet lookin' ride too!

I think we should have a section for "non boating toys" eh?
