We were all young once!

Voyage of the PETULANCE.

A bunch of young folks having a great time - and a lot of luck.

Perhaps this should be listed under cruising for 500/month

Boy I wish I could run into more peeps like this while in the Bahamas. Georgetown this year was a total retirement community bummer. Talking to the older crowd about sailing gets boring mighty quick. Most boats are the stereotypical retired snowbirds, I feel like an ass for saying it, but damn it's the truth. Not many hip punk rockers on the high seas.

I've watched that movie a few times now and I am always impressed by their reckless boldness, the impulsive abandon, the old Nike "Just Do It" mentality - but somehow even when I was 20 I don't think I would have had much patience for the mess and discomfort and duct tape approach to everything. I had a sailboat when I was 20 that I bought for $1200 and I beat my brains out to get it in perfect shape on a college student budget. So not my style of life but it's still fun to watch.
