Mercury 310 PVC RIB vs. Westmarine 310 RIB

Does anyone have any information good or bad about Mercury RIB's and/or the 310 PVC RIB in particular? Defender is selling the Mercury for $300 less than the West Marine 310, $200 less than Defender's own brand of RIB. We're going to be using the dinghy during our cruising this year.
