Re: Books on sailing in the Med?

Moderators: maybe move this thread to Mediterranean forum?

Rod Heikell writes quite a lot of books about the Med.

Re: Books on Sailing in the Med ?

Hi Maarten, Jaap here - just bought new 380 and had a great 2500 nm from W France to N Italy ... sailed all my life but this was first season in the med .. enjoyed Portugal, great place to have the boat. PM me if you have questions can give you my phone number to chat and share the few things I have learnt and which books were good and which were not useful..

Re: Books on Sailing in the Med ?

Hello Jaap, thanks for your message.
Are you also Dutch? Your name is, anyway... could make communicating a lot easier... .

We bought the Lagoon 380 in Lisbon where she still is. We intend to sail in spring to the Algarve and after this slowely sail to Spain, Franc Italy etc.
We intend to anchor a much as we can.

We would be happy with your tips and trucs...
Where are you at the moment?? And what is your ships name??
Like to hear from you.
Our private emailaddress is wamelen@wxs.nl

Best regards,
Maarten & Marjolein
