2012 cat market

Hello Folks,
What I will attempt to do here, is establish a floor on 40 to 50 foot catamarans, (with everyones help). We have the perfect group of boats to do this with, charter boats. Lets exclude alligator boats, the ones that have had terrible maintenance. Most chartersl come with similar equipment. This seems to be where different values are justified (same model boat). So if we know the new cost, say 500k, and we know the average depreciation, say 5% a year after inflation. We will also need to know when the boats stop depreciating, 40%, 50%, 60% of new value? This is not perfect, but somewhere to start, different brands different depreciation. The more numbers that are sent, the better. In addition we can do this with well equipted boats, I do expect equipment to depreciate faster than the boat itself, with no plateau. Over simplified, maybe, but I am getting the feeling that a small group of people, have a great influence on asking prices. We can do this. THANK YOU
