Cruising in Mexico for the first time - helpful hints

Before we left from California for Mexico in 2011, I really wish I would have known a little more "insider" information about things to bring with us and things I could leave on the dock. Recently I polled several of my cruising friends (and provided links to all of their blogs) on their suggestions and tips for first timers heading to Mexico on this year's migration south. I know a lot of cruiser from points north - Alaska, Washington, Oregon are starting to make their way down to San Diego for the October/November jump off.

Just thought this blog post might be helpful to those planning to go!

Have fun getting ready for the big trip and I hope you enjoy Mexico as much as we have!
