[SOLD] Walkerbay 10 sailkit $100

The sailkit is home-build but with high-end materials and great build quality.


The rudder is marine plywood, spraypainted Awlgrip white. It hinges on a stainless hinge that locks into Walkerbay's sternplate. The rudderblade also hinges up. The tiller is mahogany.


The skeg, (keel) is also spraypainted Awlgrip marine ply. It fits exactly into the Walkerbay's sword cupboard. No additional Walkerbay parts needed for the keel. It's nicer than the original keel because it fits better without play.


The mast is aluminum. Top is welded shut and rounded. It has attachment points for sail. Bottem is welded shut and made to fit WB profile exactly. Fits better that the original mast. The boom is welded aluminum. All holes and hinge is welded on there. Nice.


Sail is -pull-over-the-mast- type. Fits nicely. Works like a charm.

The kit is for a WB10. The rudder fits in the WB10 backplate and the keel fits in the WB10 keelbox. Definately NOT for WB8.

mast length = 4.5m = 14.8ft
boom length = 1.8m = 5.9ft
P mainsail = 3.8m = 12.5ft

approx surface area sail = 3.42m2 = 36.8sqft

Sorry but I really need it gone. It's in the way. Unless somebody buys it within the next couple of hours, it's going to Sailors Exchange and will end up in their HUGE inventory of marine stuff. To large for anybody to find something useful but omg so many treasures.
