Universal 5424 - for rebuild project - FREE!!. Removed from a 1981Tartan 33. Engine was shut down due to oil loss before it seized up; replaced forward gearcase, engine ran after that, but failed under load and could not be restarted (everything was checked over and tried); engine has been sitting for over a year on blocks, but is not frozen. Engine complete except for alternator (includes wiring harness, instrument panel and Hurth transmission). Popular engine, great rebuild project if you're mechanically inclined. At this point, the house is for sale and it's time to get this engine out of here. Weighs about 400lbs, can chain-hoist it into the back of your truck. Come and get it! Located in St James City, FL 33956 (south end of Pine Island). For you tractor owners, this is the Kubota DH1101.
