Really useful are satellite charts and software like open CPN. You can actually see the motus that aren’t always plotted on navionics charts when traveling in the atolls

Hello Greg....thanks heaps for your reply. btw: we are slipped in La Cruz! . We were actually on the hook "same area" but slipped as we flew N. for the Xmas. We just completed the "Sea" as well as Copper Canyon. Needless to say, it's been a great year!

Are you heading West?

We will fly out of here (CA.) on Jan 3rd....needless to say, we can not wait... it's chilly up here. ;( Once back....we plan on heading S. to Barra...where we will stage for the crossing.

On that note....we do have CPN for not only Mexico but, the S. Pacific. I was just thinking (<~~~ that's the problem) I had been informed CPN in conjunction with Navaonics is the way to fly...along with Google Earth.

PM me your email....if you are heading West!

Thanks
Don & Gloria
