Boat slip in Ft Lauderdale area

Hello,

I'm looking for a slip for my Morgan 462 ketch in the Ft Lauderdale area. The boat is 46' long, 14' beam, 5'9" draft, mast is 56' off the water. I currently have a slip that is not well suited as I can only moor bow or stern to, which makes boarding over quite hard due to dinghy davits and a high bow pulpit. Ideally an alongside dock or a long finger pier.

Looking for something long term with 2x30 amp or 1x50 amp electrical hookup to keep batteries charged and refrigeration cold, and occasional A/C usage if we're onboard. Not looking for live-aboard, and we live in the area so will be using the boat regularly.

If you have such a dock, or know of one that fits the bill, please PM and we can discuss details.

Thanks,
David

Re: Boat slip in Ft Lauderdale area

A buddy is renting out his 2 bedroom. 2 bath condo with a 65' dock in Fort Lauderdale. $1,800 per month un-furnished.
He plans to be gone about 5 years.
The dock can take a 65' boat, up to about 15' beam and 5' draft at very low tide.
The bottom is silt however so a sailboat with a 6' draft will dig it's only little channel on the bottom after a few days. No rocks.
Located on a canal up the New River, next to David Blvd, pool, laundry and excersize room included. Nice place, only 10 minutes from the FLL airport and 30 mins from MIA airport.
Send me a PM in interested.
