With the recent digital technologies out there now. DVD's could be the perfect entertainment in place of the bulkier VHA formatted tapes. And DVD's do not take up that much room like the VHS tapes do.

I plan on having DVD movies on board my boat when cruising and livingaboard. But, make sure that whenever you visit a foreign country. And you want to buy their DVD's. It might not work on a DVD player that is from your native homeland. Different region.
