I never drink and I don't find it to be a problem, when visiting other boats and offered alcohol I find a simple 'no thanks' will either get you a cola or nothing at all, both should be, if you find you really need a soda or whatever simply say 'no thanks, but I could really go for a coke if you don't mind.'

Also I try to keep alcohol on my boat for others, but when it runs out I'm not really in a hurry to restock, so when my boat is dry and I'm having people over I'll say something like 'oh and I'm fresh out of booze, if you want some you won't hurt my feelings to bring it, though.'

What is the availabilaty of N/A beer in mexico generally? Have you noticed?
