duty in Curacaco

We are flying back to our boat in Curacao and are planning on bringing a lot of parts for our boat back with us . Just wondering if anybody has any experience in flying in to Curacao with boat parts for their own boat and did they have to pay duty or taxes .

According to Noonsite on Curacao's custom:

Duty paid on equipment will be refunded on departure. Spares may be imported free of duty, but this must be arranged with customs at the airport and it is usually easier if the services of a local agent are employed.

We are in Bathurst and leaving nest fall and may end up in Curacao for the hurricane season. Who knows our path may cross.

Thanks for reply Michel , I had read that on noonsite .I think that they were referring to having parts shipped in to the country . I am still not sure of what the rules are for bringing the parts in with your return to your boat .We live in Hampton NB during the summer and fall , just east of Saint John . We sailed our boat to the Caribbean in the fall of 2006.
