Bridge Radio Comms - automatic announcements - bet
An esoteric question here to settle a bet. US only.

I say there are NO automatic announcements on VHF channels for bridge status.

My buddy says that there are, somewhere on the Chesapeake, bridges that make automatic announcements on bridge status. Of course he does not know where or when.

Who is right?
