'Seasmoke' Has a New Owner - for Real . . .

We begin her restoration this week. We will be going slow at first while we clear out our logjam of current work. Threads to follow as we go.

Glad to see she's found a buyer Charlie. Can't wait to see the pix.

Oh my goodness, I hope you aren't making your own plywood again. I bet you guys are hopping now that the weather has turned.

You know anybody that can make up a heavy duty bobstay? I need one before the big trip this year.

It's a heavy stainless wire that is swaged on both ends. I talked to PT rigging about it and they indicated that their only source was in Florida. I will take a picture today while I am sanding. Is it okay to PM you?

It's all stainless. It's swaged on both ends with a clevis and pin in the water and threaded adjustment on the bow sprit. I will get some basic dimensions and pix and send them with the PM. Much appreciated charlie.

Might I suggest the Rigging Shoppe in Toronto? They did the new fore stay for my Roberts 38 and have a portable swaging machine. They did a nice job on it, then put the furling gear around it.
