On the hard

We are headed to the States for six weeks and will be putting our boat, 33', on the hard at Grenada Marina. Any suggestions as to things that we should do to prepare her for this time?

We are doing the following:
Remove all food
Take down sails and store below deck
Wipe down all of the wood with a mild solution of clorox
Putting ant killer in the bilges and below sinks (we hear that termites start to fly now that the rains have come)
Pressure washing the hull to prepare for the paint when we return

Concerns:
Rain in the cockpit
Should I empty the raw water system
Things that I don't know about

Any suggestions will be gtreatly appreciated

I'd not use Chlorox on the wood. White vinegar works just fine, either straight or some dilute 1:1 with water.

Make sure your Nicro solar hatch vent is operating. Cover your hatches to block out the sun. Empty the fresh water system. Close all through-hulls to keep the insects out.

Termites

landonshaw- You're right to be concerned about the termites. We've encountered swarm after swarm of them in and around our termite-infested (and thankfully rented) house up by Grand Anse, more in the past month or so. The speed with which the local termites have taken certain parts of our place from solid to utterly unusable is mind-boggling.

...and might I mention that s/v Aloisius is one of the finest-looking vessels in our waters?
