Nav lights

I need to add new LED nav lights to the pulpit - the originals being built into the hull and too low for comfort.

Do I need to remove the pulpit to have a bracket welded on? Or is there a simpler method?

Thanks.

AquaSignal makes lights which have an integral clamp which fits over 1" (standard" tubing and you can adjust it to any angle.
