High tech reefer insulation?

Hello forum,

We are ripping out our holding plate system, and are putting in a new setup with much thinner evaporator plates. I thought that it might be a good idea to glue in a layer of the new high-tech insulation panels behind the new evaporators, seeing as how we've got this new-found space.

Any downside to doing this? Will moisture work it's way between the panel and the current fiberglass liner in the box, causing problems?

We're pretty well insulated already, so major surgery is not going to happen, but if it's just a matter of sticking in some additional panels to save some AH, that's something I'd like to do if there are no pitfalls I'm missing.

Thanks for the tips.

Do a search for fridge insulation on this site.
Lots of stuff about it here.
I love our Aerogel insulation.
