Cheap opening port windscoop

My wife just engineered an inexpensive way to really boost the ventilation through a port hole. It consists of $1.00 trash cans from the Dollar Tree, needs no ties or strings as it easily pushes in and pops out of the port. Hopefully the pictures are self explanatory, and I’m sure this has been done before.Click image for larger version

Very in"vent"ive 🤣. Looks like they stack inside each other for storage when not used. Clever!

Doesn’t look bad either. Nicely done.

Super fine! Necessity (and cheap) is the mother of invention.

Last of the big spenders ;-)

Seriously though, I may just have to steal your idea before your utility patent is filed.

I will keep her! In fact I don’t think I have a choice as her head has swollen up so much over the comments here she’s unable to push through the companionway. Got her where I want her

Great idea, and nicely executed. Are there other colors available?
