Adjustable Cradle - Does it Have to ?

In the process of building a cradle for my sailboat (22' - 5,000#)

Do the leg supports have to be adjustable, swivel ????

It would be easier to weld them where I need them to fit the hull, don't intend to trailer launch ever.

Pros and Cons ????

thanks guys

Not a bad idea to make them adjustable since you may not always be sitting on level ground. You want the bow up slightly to drain the water out of the cockpit.

colo.sail,

Adjustable cradles are made to be universal for a bunch of boat models.
If you are building it for your own boat be design, just weld everthing in place. Done
We have guys build them in our yard that way all the time.
