Volvo D2-55 Heat Exchanger Leak

Have a leak in our D2-55 Volvo heat Exchanger, back side, right under the freshwater coolant tank.

It is a very small leak but would like to know oif anyone has had the issue and how to remedy it.

Also, I checked carefully but could not find a zinc or info on one. A Volvo mechanic has told me a few years ago that there is no zinc....

Thanks for any help...!

Re: Volvo D2-55 Heat Exchanger Leak

There is a thread here on just that issue on that engine. Seems like a poor design that can go bad unless caught early. Search for it.
