Source for Old Yanmar Parts?

There must be a gazillion old horizontal Yanmars in the weeds in boatyards around the world. I need an upper cover for a YSM12. Anyone have a source for a salvage yard or ...? Thanks

Thanks. Our Bofort local super welder, Fred Lindow, says he can build me one. Still, there has to be more than a few of these laying around, I'd think.

You might contact these guys and ask where they get their parts. Yanmar YSM12

Thanks. I had one made of mild steel, moved the zinc slightly. Works fine.

I'm told by my local Yanmar dealer it is not possible to get original oversize bearings for the Y series motors any more.

For Volvo parts I have had luck with French Creek Marina suspect they may have some Yanmar as well.
