Service ford leeman 80

I'm just about to get my ford leeman ready for a months trip .
I've already changed all filters oils ect .
But the exhaust it confusing me and other forums.
I've removed the manifold and I can see it's bad . Now it's clogged but look in a very sound condition .
I ideally don't want to replace it and find it hard to believe it's a consumable . This thing seems bomb proof . ? I've ordered the acid that keeps being mentioned but what are your thoughts on cleaning ? And if I could find an exact part match I would consider new but at the minute I can't . I at least would like new o rings if anyone has info.
And what else would you do in a service .
Ps I'm very handy .
Pps would this clogging make extra black smoke ?

Where in the WWW are you????? If in Aust try Diecon Engineering Brisbane.
A couple of often over looked ford things. 1. Simms fuel pump cambox oil change -1/3 pint engine oil. 2. Fuel lift pump filter screen.
Buy 'O'ring rubber from a Ind bearing supply outlet and make your own.
