KBW10 Kanzaki Output Flange thread direction?

Hi,
I'm trying to remove the flange coupling from the output shaft of my KBW10 Kanzaki transmission, but I cant budge the large locking nut which holds it onto the shaft. (I'm talking about the flange on the transmission output shaft, not the prop shaft flange).

While googling for help I read about someone with a similar problem and he was told the nut was Lefthand thread! It's not mentioned in the service manual and I don't know if they were talking about the same transmission as mine but it got me wondering about the thread on my KBW10? Is it L/H or R/H?

Can anyone help?

Try a yanmar seller I think they some times use kanzaki.

Just for future reference in case anyone needs to know. I managed to remove the output flange of my KBW10 Tranny, and the flange lock nut thread direction is definitely Right-Handed.

bony.
