Gasoline Availability

I am curious about gasoline availability in the places you have traveled. I know that is pretty broad, but did you ever visit a locale that didn't have any or was not the norm and very expensive? Please include your experience with US marinas as well.

My consideration is for using gas outboards on the boat and dingy as well as, perhaps, a generator.

The only places I’ve been (or heard of) with no gasoline, had no fuel, of any type, at all.

There are many small US fishing harbors that don't have gas at the dock--they may not have diesel either, as the guys have tanks in their pick-up trucks--but a short carry will bring it from a service station; a good case for having some type of small folding cart and a jerry can.
