my belts, even a COT factory belt is slipping and dusting at 2000 RPM
when the alternator
is heavily charging
, like at 60 to 100 A.
I had the same situation on my old Perkins
it by getting double pulleys made for two belts.
dealer said that was not necessary but the problem persists.
I tighten the belt and it still slips. I had the alignment checked twice it is OK.
Any advice on getting bigger pulleys like 1" wide or double pulleys?
