2.5" manual diesel diverter/selector valves

Hi all,

hoping someone might have an idea about where I can get one of these.2.5" manual diesel diverter/selector valves.

I would prefer not to have plastic type, as have one and it has failed. it is to use on my diesel fill hoses, I have one fill opening on deck but two tanks.

have searched the net, but am struggling to find anything, perhaps I am using the wrong terminology.

Thanks for any suggestions

Sure you have a 2.5" valve? Pipe is measured from the inside; a 2" pipe will have about a 2.5" O.D. You're probably gonna have trouble finding a 2.5" bronze threaded 3 way ball valve, but 2" are readily available.

Not likely. I’m unaware of any fuel hose with a 1.75" ID.
The minimum allowable inside diameter for fuel fills is 1.5″ (38mm), which is the commonest size.
Fuel fill hose is also available in 2" ID.

Re: 2.5" manual diesel diverter/selector valves

This is what you are looking for.
3 way bronze diverter valve with SS handle 1.5 inch (ID)

Three-Way Bronze Diverter Valves | West Marine

You may be able to find one in DZR in UK or even brass would do for fuel, unless it will be buried in a wet bilge.

As said-38mm is the metric equivalent.

Measure the OD of the hose adapter threads where the adapter screws into the valve & that will be the size to order.
Fuel filler deck fittings come in 1.5" & 2" (with 2" preferred for diesel as it foams)
/ Len

Edit: perhaps this link: http://www.albionvalvesuk.com/page/ball-valves
