Another thought, Leave them inside with the AC on, but also leave a couple of 12v fans on where they can have access to the breeze. You batteries should have no problem keeping the fans going if the power is out. You should learn about a power outage within an hour or two right? You could also ask someone you know at the marina to give you a call if the power goes out.... Arent they going to be awful hot outside in a cage? even under the bimini? I've heard it takes only a half hour in a car to kill a dog when it's hot...
